pptConnect is a productivity tool that installs on a windows machine and interfaces with the PPT instrument. This application can be used to:

To get started, download the application installer to your computer.
Note: the current version is compatible with Windows Only. Please contact Presscision for Mac availability.

Download the the compressed installer file (zip-file) by clicking the “Download pptConnect App” button above. When the download finishes, you will see the file in the bottom left hand corner of your screen (Chrome). If you are using Microsoft Edge, then it will come up with the option to save or open. In this case, you can do either option. Open will take you to the folder and you can run the install from there. You can also save the file and access it from your downloads folder.
(Chrome) drag the file to your desktop. (Edge) you can do this if you prefer too from your downloads folder. Either way, you’ll want to save the file to your desktop.
Once the zip file is on your desktop or in a specific folder of your choosing, right click the file to extract the files.The extracted files will include 2 executable (exe) files: one for installing the app (presscision_pptConnect_rel_1.110.exe), and a second for installing serial driver files (serial_install.exe).
Double click the presscision_pptConnect_rel_1.110.exe file and the install process should begin. You may receive a popup asking you if you trust this application to make changes. Click OK and this will initiate the app installation. Wait for the app to install.
Double click the serial_install.exe file to install serial drivers for the app. You may receive a popup asking you if you trust this application to make changes. Click OK and this will initiate the driver installation. Wait for the app to install.
Run the App! The install should create a shortcut on the desktop as well as an entry in the Windows Start menu. Select either one to start the app.
